Join the Ko-Falen Cultural Center Board of Directors

Ko-Falen Cultural Center is a Portland-based 501(c)3 nonprofit bridging the United States and Mali through art, music, dance, and education. Founded by Malian artist Baba Wagué Diakité, Ko-Falen — meaning “gift exchange” in Bambara — supports free tutoring for underserved youth, family food assistance, and traditional Malian arts training that connects students to international exhibitions.

We are a small, passionate organization doing meaningful work, and we are actively seeking new board members to help us grow.
